Terms of use
Last updated: 2 November 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses idata.center: readers, newsletter subscribers, members and recruiters. By using the website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Who runs this website
idata.center is an independent educational platform on data center cleaning and contamination control, run by Ashraf Almuhtaseb, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You can reach us through the contact page.
The content is for education, not a work instruction
Articles, checklists, templates, quizzes and answers to member questions share general field experience and published guidance from bodies such as ASHRAE and ISO. They are not a substitute for the instructions of your equipment manufacturers, your site's own procedures and permits, your safety rules, or a qualified professional who has seen your site. Work inside a live data center carries real risk to people, equipment and service. Before you act on anything you read here, check it against your own situation and get the approvals your site requires. We try to keep the content accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is complete or free of errors.
Using our content
All articles, images, files and other material on this website belong to Ashraf Almuhtaseb unless stated otherwise. You may read them, share links to them, and quote short parts with a clear credit and a link to the original page. Downloaded member resources (checklists, forms, templates) may be used inside your own organization. You may not republish whole articles, sell or redistribute our files, remove the credit, or present our material as your own without written permission. Search engines and AI assistants may read and cite the public pages, as our robots.txt allows.
Member accounts
Membership is free and for people aged 18 or over. Give true details when you join and keep them up to date. One account per person. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure: anyone who controls it can enter your account. If you think someone else has used your account, use "Sign out everywhere" in your account settings and tell us. You can delete your account at any time from Account > Delete account.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website to: send spam or advertising; post anything unlawful, insulting, misleading or that breaks someone else's rights; pretend to be another person or company; collect other members' details; copy the website in bulk with scripts or bots; try to get around our security, test it without our written permission, or overload the service. We may remove content and limit, suspend or close any account that breaks these rules.
Comments and questions you send
You keep the rights to what you write. By posting a comment or sending a question to Ask the Expert, you allow idata.center to show, edit for length or clarity, and use it on the website, including an anonymous version of a question and its answer in an article. Comments may be reviewed before they appear, and we may decline or remove any comment. Do not include confidential details about your employer or your clients.
Quiz certificates
A certificate shows that you passed an online quiz on this website on a given date. It is not a professional qualification, licence or accreditation, and it does not show that you are able to carry out work on a live site.
Professional profile and recruiters
Showing your professional profile to recruiters is optional and you can stop at any time. idata.center is not an employment agency: we do not check every detail members or recruiters give, we do not take part in hiring decisions, and we do not promise any job or candidate.
Recruiters are approved by us and must: use member details only to discuss a real job opening; contact only members who accepted their request; never ask candidates for any payment; never sell, share or copy member details into other lists; respect the laws that apply to recruitment, including the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law. We may suspend a recruiter at once if these rules are broken.
Sponsors, advertising and links to other websites
Sponsored content and advertisements are clearly marked. Mentioning a company, product or standard is not an endorsement unless we say so. Links to other websites are given for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Availability and changes to the website
We may change, pause or remove any part of the website, including member features, at any time. We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of faults.
Limitation of liability
The website is offered free of charge and "as is". As far as the law allows, idata.center and Ashraf Almuhtaseb are not liable for any loss or damage, including equipment failure, downtime, data loss or lost business, that comes from using or relying on the website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow us to limit.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, members are told by email before it applies. Using the website after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to us first will be handled by the competent courts in Riyadh.
